What is wrong with Elena Delle Donne, the high school basketball play-Star player who goes to Geno Auriemma, Connecticut?
Could it be that she has a change of heart or is it playing too much pressure on the college level? I think it is all that and much more. High school athletes are under so much pressure these days because they are always watched or someone is always evaluating their athletic performance.
You need to always "on", because someoneobserved and that is a pain in the ass can be. I am sure that many high school star athlete sick of high expectations on them by people they do not even know places.
The pressure at the high level of the school is treated too much for some of these kids sometimes. And keep in mind that we have children and not the pros. These children are not too far from playing with toys and coloring books away.
We all love high school sports and talk about the latest hotSports star but sometimes it is too much for these young athletes.
We build these children to read on blogs and Web sites camps or AAU events, and these kids and know say these things, what their doing and their parents. They all feel the pressure and I'm sure, just like you and me, we all need a break sometimes from jobs or from school. Think about this: Some of these high-school student athletes play their sport year-round, so when we say a very good athlete, she wants a breakthey are entitled to it.
